A Strange Dream

I had the weirdest dream early this morning.

I was asleep in a strange bed, alone. There was an air conditioner vent high up in the wall at the foot of the bed.

I looked, and there was a LARGE snake coming out of the vent. It was a cream-gold color and it had a bony ridge-hood over its eyes.

I had one of those paralyzed-in-a-dream moments, then began kicking my feet under the sheets to keep it off of me. It flashed in my mind that this was a "Gabon Viper" (whatever that is), then I woke up.

By the way, here's a picture of an actual "Gaboon Viper," which looks a lot like the serpent in my dream. Wikipedia says it has the longest fangs and highest venom yield of any poisonous snake. Arrrgghhh, SHUDDER!

It was about 0350. I've been awake since.

Is it as clear to you as it is to me that I'm fighting to keep Satan out of my life?

I told Jan about the dream this morning, and she said, "You know what the snake represents in the Bible, right?" I nodded that I did.

Now if only the way to battle Satan in daily life were as clear as that dream.
