In this blog, we have what is essentially an outlet for me to share some of the accumulated thoughts, experiences, wisdom - meaning what I've found works and what doesnt - of over six decades of survival in this beautiful God-given world in which we live.

This blog is not about me. It's about sharing what I've learned so that perhaps a reader can avoid some of the stones on which I've stubbed my toes. It's about helping to make this world we all share a better place to live in. It's about helping you find happiness in your life, if that's possible. It's about helping to make lives better everywhere.

I'll add more to this page as the inspiration strikes, but I would love to hear from you, your thoughts and opinions and agreements and contradictions.

My basic philosophy of opinions is that I am in favor of what I feel is best in any particular area, but it is NOT set in concrete. Show me a good reason to change my opinon and I'll certainly listen. Convince me, and I'll change.

I'm not afraid to admit "I don't know" to many things. There are infinitely more things in this world I don't know than those I do.

Life got a whole lot easier for me when I learned to accept things I don't understand. There are lots of those things, too.
